Workshop Policies


Please read the following IMPORTANT information: You will be asked to agree to our policy terms before you register for a workshop.

Only Registered workshop guests will be permitted into the workshop area. Because of workshop size, available seating and fire code, we are limited to the number of people allowed in the workshop area.

Registration: Project selection and customization information for your project is required at the time of booking.  Please be sure to double check your spelling and information to ensure your project stencil and materials will be ready for you at the start of class.

Private Event Cancellation Policy
A deposit is due when booking your private events.  Once the minimum number of participants is met (12), we will refund your initial deposit at class.  If you are unable to meet the minimum, the deposit will be forfeited.  If you choose to cancel your private party the deposit will not be refunded due to the nature of our studio and the demand for private party times on our calendar.

For private events, we require all attendees to register and provide complete personalization  info for their project at least 72 hours in advance so we can prepare the materials for your event ahead of time.

Arriving on Time:  We ask that you please arrive on time for your scheduled workshop so that we can start on time. Anyone arriving any later than 15 minutes after the start time will not be allowed to enter the workshop. Unfortunately, reservation fees are non-refundable. Please contact us if you are running late.


Because of time constraints and the way our workshops are instructed, we can only allow each person to make ONE project per workshop. If there are multiple designs you would like, may we suggest finding a friend to purchase a spot and make it for you.

Food and Alchohol:  YOU MUST be at least 21 years old to bring/consume alcohol. Please feel free to bring beer, wine, and food with you to the workshop. We also sell a variety of non-alcoholic beverages on the premises. We ask that you consume alcohol responsibly, and designate a driver.   

DIY and Tools:  You will be using electric sanders, drills, finishing nail guns, sand paper, Chalk Mineral paints, water and oil based stains, Polycrylic top coats and decorative all natural waxes.

Wood Used in Class: The wood that we use in class is fresh handpicked pine. It is rustic and imperfect. There will be some shrinkage over time as the wood dries out this is perfectly normal. You will leave with a wonderful project to put on your wall.

Workshop Cancellation Policy:  Due to the custom nature of our studio, registration fees are non-refundable.  Registration cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of a workshop will be granted a FULL class credit for a future workshop to be used (within 90 days). 24 to 48 hour cancellation notice will be granted a HALF credit to be used for a future workshop.

Unfortunately, we are unable to grant a class credit for cancellations less than 24 hours or no-shows. If unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel the SAME DAY of a workshop you are scheduled to attend, we suggest you find a friend or family member to come in your place so that you do not lose the reservation fee you paid. You may also pick up your project any time after the scheduled workshop date, to complete it at home.

Due to staffing, we reserve the right to cancel workshops or classes if attendance is below 4 attendees, you will be given a refund in the event that this happens.

Project Change Request: Please note, the design you choose at registration will be the design you receive the night of the workshop. Please check your spelling. No changes may be made once your order is placed. We would be happy to accommodate your request for a design change for a $10 stencil re-cut fee, payable upon the start of your workshop.  

Custom Design Request:  We love making new designs!  We would be happy to design a custom stencil for your project. There will be a $20 charge for any custom design that we usually do not carry.

Safety Waiver

I understand that I will use and/or be exposed to drills, sand paper, wire, paint and oil based stains during Rustically Divine workshops.  I agree to be responsible for any damages to Rustically Divine’s tools, equipment or facilities, to the extent and in the percentage I cause such damages.

I recognize there may be certain inherent risks in participating in Rustically Divine workshops.  I agree to take precautions and observe all Rustically Divine’s policies, recommendations, directions, rules and warnings; whether provided orally or in writing. I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself.

I further agree to release and discharge Rustically Divine for any injury, loss or damage that may arise out of my participation in a Rustically Divine workshop or my presence in the rustically Divine facility whether caused by me, Rustically Divine or any third party.

I agree to indemnify and defend Rustically Divine against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments costs or expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my participation in Rustically Divine workshops or my presence in Rustically Divine facilities.
